A suicide bomb attack, the second of such attacks on Friday October 23rd, has been reported in Yola, Adamawa state. Many people feared dead.
The deadly attack comes barely 11 hours after a previous explosion at a mosque in the Borno state capital, Maiduguri where updates of the casualty figures indicate at least 20 people have been reported dead.
At least 17 people were also reported to have been injured in the blast at the mosque in Maiduguri.
Friday’s second bomb attack occurred at a Jummat service in a mosque in Jimeta town, Yola, Adamawa state. Both attacks are suspected to have been carried out by Boko Haram.
