Lekan Shonde To Be Remanded For The Next 30 Days In Ikoyi Prison

 Lekan Shonde was arraigned at the Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates Court today for the murder of his wife, Ronke Shonde at their home in Egbeda. He however, pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge of murder.

The Magistrate, Mrs Oluyemisi Adelaja ordered that he should be remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons for the next 30 days, pending an advice from the state’s Director of Public Prosecutions.

The case has been adjourned till June 24.
