He congratulated Nnadi on his meritorious appointment and called on him to discharge his duties without fear or favour.

The immediate past Chief Justice of the state Justice Benjamin Njemanze was highly commended for working in tandem with the “Rescue Mission” to host the conference of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) in the state.
He praised Njemanze for ensuring the building of the judicial Service Secretariat and the renovation of the Customary Court.
The governor called on the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary arms of government in the country to redefine the separation of powers by ensure that each arm discharges its functions separately.
He added that such function must be done with the spirit of oneness rather than the total isolation and discrimination.
He called on the judiciary to advocate a national conference of the three arms to discuss the challenges foreseeable in the 2015 general elections and find solution to them to ensure peaceful election.
Responding, Justice Nnadi, the 10th Chief Judge of the state, described his appointment as divine.
He thanked the Judicial Service Commission for maintaining its selection strictly on character, administrative skills and respect for constituted authorities.
He promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him, adding that he would deliver his service as expected.
He commended Gov. Okorocha for good governance and pledged more support to the Rescue Mission of the state administration among others.
Nnadi solicited the cooperation and prayers of all to ensure his success and promised to re-engineer the judiciary for greater service delivery.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Eze Madumere, the Speake, State House of Assembly, Mr Benjamin Uwajimogu, members of the State Executive Council, members of the judiciary, among others, attended the occasion.
