NUPENG, PENGASSAN Suspends Strike
Oil workers unions have suspend their nationwide strike, which had been on since Monday. The oil workers had been locked in a close-door negotiations in Abuja with the Federal Government delegation led by the Supervising Minster for Labour, Tanimu Turaki, since 5 p.m. yesterday (Thursday).
It was learnt that the one week old strike was suspended after 12 hours of negotiations between the union leaders and representatives of government led by the labour supervising minister.
