Angry protesters have stormed the street of Ahoda, Rivers state against the PDP senatorial primaries which they claim was fraudulent and manipulated by the party.
The protesters marched to the Party’s Secretariat in Ahoada to bare their minds, they insist the party is set to lose in the elections if these issues are not resolved.
In reaction, a leader of the PDP in the state claimed the party ran a transparent primary calling on the protesters to stop the protest.
With protests greeting the emergence of many candidates across the country, it remains to be seen how this will affect the eventual outcome of the 2015 elections.
