Baby Delivered Inside Train Toilet, Falls on Rail Tracks & Survives In India

 A report from New Delhi on Tuesday, said a pregnant woman traveling with her family in the north-western state of Rajasthan had labour pains on the train, according to News Agency of Nigeria

The 22-year-old woman went to the toilet and delivered a baby boy that slipped through the toilet bowl and fell on the rail tracks but survived.

According to reports, the train was stationary at the time of the delivery but had moved to Hanumangarh town some 13 kilometres away by the time her relatives found her lying unconscious and summoned help.

The baby was on the tracks for hours,but was spotted by the guard of a nearby warehouse who heard the cry.

He was rescued and taken to the hospital where he was reunited with his mother.
