JUST IN! Clark’s Wife Attacked In Abeokuta

Reports reaching us from Abeokuta, Ogun state, provide that Bisola Sodipo-Clark, the wife of Chief Edwin Clark, was attacked on March 10.

According to Vanguard the incident occurred in the Sokori area of Abeokuta North local government area of the state.

Suspected political thugs assaulted Mrs Sodipo-Clark and her supporters. As a result many Peoples Democratic Party followers who gathered in the area to welcome their chieftains were injured.

A lot of those present were rushed to the hospital following the unfortunate development."

Mrs Sodipo-Clark was whisked away by her security men, some of whom were injured in the course of the attack.
Meanwhile Chief Clark on March 4 shared his opinion regarding the persisting insurgency ravaging the North-East. The Ijaw leader commended President Goodluck Jonathan and the Nigerian military over the recapture of numerous towns within a short period.
