AMVCA Announces Closing Date For 2016 Entries

In preparations for the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs), the organisers of the award event has disclosed that entries would close on October 30, 2015.

According to Naij.com, this was disclosed at the East African media stakeholders’ event for the AMVCAs held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Njoki Muhoho, a Kenyan film producer, critic, and academic was also announced as the new head judge for the event.

However, filmmakers from across the continent were urged to send in their entries for participation before the closing date.

The AMVCAs is said to be an event created to celebrate the contribution of African filmmakers, actors and technicians in the success of the continent’s film and television industry.
