‘Di’ja is Different and so difficult to work with, She won’t show skin!’ Music video director Unlimited LA Says

In a recent interview with Hip TV, music video director Unlimited LA was asked to identify three artistes he finds it difficult to work with and he pointed out Mavin star Di’ja as one of them. His reason, among other things, is that the “Awww” singer won’t show skin.

“Di’ja won’t talk about it. You already see it on her face,” Unlimited LA said in the interview, and then added with a bit of laughter, though his exasperation could be felt, “she always refuses to show skin!”

But Di’ja has refused to believe that the director had this to say about working with her. In her own interview, she maintained that they had a wonderful relationship, good chemistry, that they are able to churn out videos fast, and that his team is super cool with her.

Now, this is a tad disturbing, but we hope they resolve the subtle conflict. Di’ja is famous for preserving her dignity by showing no skin in most of the music videos and concerts she has performed in.

Di’ja’s hit single “Awww” was directed by Unlimited LA and it won the Best Music Video award at the last Nigeria Entertainment Award.
