A woman who was declared dead and taken to the mortuary suddenly wakes up after spending 11 hours and has gone back to her family, complaining of feeling cold. Who wouldn’t feel cold after spending such a period in those cold storage facilities?
The woman, Janina Kolkiewicz is 91. It was a mortuary staff who was astonished to notice movement in her body bag while it was in storage. The police have launched an investigation.
The woman is home and is eating, the first meal she took was a bowl of soup and two pancakes.
Everyone is stunned especially her doctor "I was sure she was dead," Dr Wieslawa Czyz told the television channel TVP. "I'm stunned, I don't understand what happened. Her heart had stopped beating, she was no longer breathing," Dr Czyz said.
The death certificate has been declared invalid.
She is apparently unaware of how near she came to the grave.
"My aunt has no inkling of what happened since she has late-stage dementia," Bogumila Kolkiewicz, her niece, told local media.
