Port St. Lucie police said that they have arrested 44-year-old Felicity Leigh Palma, after being accused of stealing her boyfriend’s prescription drugs and filing a false police report.
She was booked into the St. Lucie County jail.
The incident began when Palma called police to report a burglary in progress in the 4000 block of SE Bonney Street on Thursday night.
She told officers who arrived at the scene, that she saw two thieves running from her house. She reported that her jewelry and money had been stolen.
The boyfriend told police that two of his prescription drugs and pink box containing his false teeth were missing. As police were investigating, the boyfriend brought a bag to the police that he had found inside the Palma’s car.
He emptied the contents onto a table, and his pink case containing the dentures fell out.
Palma then told officers that her boyfriend is trying to frame her for the burglary, but police noticed the missing bottles of prescription drugs inside Palma’s purse.
Palma then admitted that she made up the whole incident because she was angry with her boyfriend.
