The family of modern Nigerian hero Late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh who helped prevent the spread of the deadly Ebola virus around Nigeria have spoken out about upcoming movie “93 Days“.
The movie which features leading Nigerian and international stars is set to be released this year.
In a letter shared with media, the family stated “The Adadevoh and Cardoso families have not consented to the use of the Stella Adadevoh’s name, likeness or image for commercial profit. The families intend to hold the filmmakers legally accountable for any falsehoods and innuendos in the movie, 93 Days with regard to Dr. Adadevoh and her family.”
Definitely a dicey situation as the filmmakers maintain that the movie is “dedicated” to Dr Adadevoh and her great legacy while the family is clearly unhappy.
