Sports court rejects Bility's appeal over FIFA presidency bid

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Thursday rejected Musa Hassan Bility's appeal against FIFA's rejection of his candidacy to run in the vote to elect a new head of world football's governing body.

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) through authoritative statement from the federal Government on Tuesday, insisted that mobile telecommunication firm, MTN Nigeria pay the N780billion fine imposed on it by December 31, latest.

33 year old footballer, Alfredo Pacheco, who is a player for El Salvador national football team was shot dead by a gunman outside a petrol filling station in Santa Ana yesterday Dec. 27th. Pacheco was a defender who played for the Salvadorian clubs Club Deportivo FAS, A D Isidro Metapán and the New York Red Bulls in the US.
