On Tuesday in city of Ikare Akoko, in Ondo State armed robbers dressed in army uniforms raided a bank leaving 11 persons dead.
A witness who saw them said the robbers stormed the bank which was located at the heart of the town at about 1pm and held the town hostage for about four hours.
The robbers who were heavily armed arrived the bank premises in two vehicles painted in army colors and were said to have shot at the mobile policemen at the bank killing four of them, while a 10-year old girl was found dead near the bank.
