AirAsia Search Focuses On Fuselage

                   Searchers on Wednesday were focused on finding the fuselage of the crashed AirAsia plane, after they retrieved the aircraft's flight recorders this week, an Indonesian official said.

The search operations director, Air Commodore Suryadi Supriyadi disclosed this in Jakarta on Wednesday.
"We believe there are still many bodies there,’’ Supriyadi said.
Divers retrieved the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder from the seabed on Monday and Tuesday,
respectively.

Data from the two recorders, known as the black boxes, helped investigators determine the chain of events leading to an accident.

AirAsia flight QZ8501 was en route from Surabaya to Singapore on Dec. 28 when it crashed into the Java Sea killing all the 162 people on board.

Supriyadi said families of victims had not given up hope that more bodies would be found.

However, only 48 have been recovered, and no survivors.

The National Search and Rescue Agency Chief, Bambang Sulistyo said the large-scale operation was winding down, but the search for bodies would continue as long as needed.
