Cristiano Ronaldo will meet a young boy orphaned by a suicide bombing in Lebanon.
Haidar was in the Bourj el Barajneh suburb of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, when a suicide bomber detonated and killed both of his parents in a cowardly attack this week.
Bourj el Barajneh is home to a refugee camp that hosts some 28,000 Palestinian refugees and is an area that has been targeted in the past by extremists.
Lebanese reporter Rana Harbi, heartbroken by the story of football-mad Haidar, attempted to contact Real Madrid in the vain hope that the youngster could meet his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.
But the Spanish giants surprised her by getting in touch with the recovering Haidar and arranging for him to meet Ronaldo.
