Man Assaults Girlfriend For Refusing To Smell His Armpit

A Texas man is currently cooling his heels in detention for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend for refusing to “smell” his armpit.

According to CBS 7, the boyfriend, whose name was given as Robinson Pinilla-Bolivar, had approached his girlfriend while washing dishes in the kitchen and asked her to smell his armpit.

Following her refusal to smell his armpit, the girlfriend claims they got into a heated argument and Ponilla-Bolivar hit her on the back of the head with a clenched fist and then threatened her with a knife.

She then says he fled the scene, and she called the police.

The offending boyfriend was later arrested by the cops at a traffic stop and has been charged with aggravated assault.

In his defense, Pinilla-Bolivar claims he did not threaten his girlfriend but only threw the knife into the sink because he was angry over her refusal to smell his armpit.
