Meet Joel Miggler, The Guinness World Record Holder With 11 Large ‘Flesh Tunnels’ In His Face (SEE PHOTOS)

A the age of 13, when most teens his age were busy schooling and dreaming of what the future holds in store for them, Joel Miggler was pre-occupied with something else – how to pierce his ear. That was nine years ago but today, the German-born Miggler holds the Guinness World Records (2014) for the most flesh tunnels in the face – put at 11. He also holds the record for most stretched piercings.
Speaking ahead of the 11th annual celebration of the Guinness World Records Day, Joel Miggler reveals that after he got the first piercing on his ear at the age of 13, which he did love, by the way, he slowly graduated to adding flesh holes fitted with expanders to his lips and nose – leaving the largest two for his cheeks.

 

Despite having to endure pain during the process of adding these flesh holes, which presently measure a shocking 34mm, the 22-year-old has revealed his plans to expand the size to 40mm.
Sharing his thoughts on body modification, Joel Miggler said it is “a very addictive process”, adding that whenever he got something new, which takes up to one week to endure “a little bit of pain”, he can wait to get the next one.
“I am very happy and want to go to the next one”, he said.
Joel Miggler also clarified that while he was not the first person to cut his cheeks and fit flesh holes, he was the first to cut them three times.
How does he manage to do it? The flesh-hole-obsessed German confessed that the process involves a lot of bleeding, which eventually heals very well but that does not stop him from getting another.

 

On how he manages to feed without spilling some of the food through the flesh holes on his cheeks, Joel Miggler said that he does not have many problems, although he is required to take small bites but as you may already guess, soup and other liquid are prone to leaking out the side.
As weird as his current obsession might be, Joel Miggler, who has had his tongue surgically split down the middle, plans in the future, to stretch his face even more.

 

In addition, he would want to get an eye-ball implant – a piece of decorative jewellery placed within the superficial, interpalpebral conjunctiva of the eye.
