Sony is reacting to news that the Paris terrorists may have used PlayStation 4 to secretly communicate, telling TMZ they and their customers are now on the lookout.
A
rep from Sony, which manufactures PlayStation 4, says, “We are
dedicated to checking behavior and we urge our users and partners to
report activities that may be offensive, suspicious or illegal.”
The rep goes on, “When we identify or are notified of such conduct and verify it, we are committed to reviewing it and taking appropriate action.”
The statement stops short of saying authorities will be notified, but the inference is certainly there.
