Petrol Tanker Falls Crushing A Commercial Bus In Osun - Photo

A petrol-laden truck on Thursday fell and crushed a commercial bus called ‘Korope’ at Asubiaro area of Osogbo, It was gathered that no life was lost in the crash which some said was caused by the terrible condition of the road.

Some residents of the area said the 33,000-litre capacity fuel tank pulled off from the vehicle when it ran into a big pothole on the road.

According to eyewitness, some residents were said to have trooped out on seeing fuel gushing out from the tanker and started scooping fuel from the crashed tanker.

Police and Civil Defence officials were able to seal up the area and ensure that residents were fenced away from the scene in case of fire outbreak.

Similarly in Lagos state, a terrible accident occurred at Ojuelegba in as a heavy duty container skidded off the Ojuelegba bridge and landed on two private cars, crushing occupants in the vehicles.
