A coalition of unemployed persons in the country under the aegis of the Nigerian unemployed youths vanguard has urged the federal government not to relent in its efforts to eradicate eradicating unemployment amongst Nigerians.
This was made known through the spokesperson of the group, Okpokwu Ogenyi in Abuja.
This development is coming following recent controversy about the centenary city project which if execute can provide over five hundred thousand jobs through direct labour for the teeming population of unemployed persons in the country.
According to the leaders of the group, this is why the Nigerian unemployed youths vanguards have decided to throw its weight of support behind the Buhari-led administration.
The youth also pledged to align themselves with the anti-corruption campaign of the federal government.
According to recent statistical data provided by the National Bureau of Statistics, over 4.6m Nigerians are unemployed.
