Russian based midfielder Lukman Haruna will be manning the midfield today, September 5, when the Super Eagles of Nigeria square up against the Taifa stars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, African Football reports.
The dazzling midfielder who is making a comeback to the squad after a five-year absence has been tipped to play in the attacking midfielder position ahead of FC Taraba skipper Usman Mohammed.
Following his faltering display in the Eagles last friendly against Abuja Football College, Mohammed will be dropped to bench as Haruna looks set to come in to take his place.

A top official told AfricanFootball.com: “Usman will now start from the bench against Tanzania because he did not follow the tactics during the team’s last friendly.
“Lukman Haruna will now be the attacking midfielder, playing behind the top striker, in this case Emmanuel Emenike.”
Wolves of England goalkeeper Carl Ikeme will make his debut in the absence of bereaved Vincent Enyeama as CSKA Moscow top shot and captain of the day, Ahmed Musa get set to lead the team to victory.
Haruna is one of the few players to have represented his country at all age-grade competitions. He was however overlooked by coaches Samson Siasia and Stephen Keshi.
He led Nigeria’s U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, to win the cadet competition in South Korea in 2007, and last featured for the team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup hosted by South Africa.
Kick-off time for the game is 2.30pm Nigerian time.
