And it seems Justin Bieber, 21, is holding out hope, with a secret shout-out to his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez in the music video for his new single What Do You Mean.
Eagle-eyed viewers spotted the name ‘Selena’ spray-painted in pink on a wall of graffiti in the background of his racy music video.
Also painted on the graffiti wall are the words ‘love’ and ‘hope’ – perhaps a sign that Bieber still holds a flame for the pop princess.
Bieber and former Disney star Gomez had a tumultuous relationship, dating on and off for years between 2010 and 2014, before finally splitting up for good.
But it appears the Baby singer is not yet over his first love, judging by his new video and the lyrics.
