Nine Ships Arrive With 283,300 Tonnes Of Fuel At Lagos Ports

On Monday, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said nine ships laden with petrol had arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge.
The NPA stated this in ‘Shipping Position’ it’s daily publication, usually made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
According to the ‘Shipping Position’ the nine ships sailed in with 283,300 tonnes of fuel while another ship arrived with Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO).
It also stated that six other ships arrived at the Lagos ports with foods and general cargo.
The document indicated that 23 other ships were being expected at the ports within Dec. 29,2014 to Jan. 23,2015.
It said that 20 of the expected ships would arrive with containers, two with petrol and one, rice.
