Gunmen Kill 10, Injure Others In Kaduna

Gunmen at the weekend attacked Tataura village in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State killing no fewer than 10 persons, leaving at least five others injured in the incident.

Just after they have finished celebrating a terror-free Christmas, a gang of terrorists dressed in military uniform unleashed mayhem in Tattaura village, killing 10 persons, including a father of four children.

Mr. Mike Anche, a community leader, told our correspondent that, “the people of Tataura choose every 27 day of December to celebrate their Christmas, but the celebration was cut short Saturday night when 10 people were killed by gun men and many others injured and taken to the general hospital in Gwantu.”

According to him, the attack started from a shop where some men were relaxing.

Acting Chairman of Sanga Local Government Council, Alhaji Nasiru Harande, who confirmed the incident, described it as unfortunate, adding that the people of Tattaura community were still celebrating Christmas on Saturday night when the gunmen struck.

He, however, added that normalcy had returned to the community, as security operatives have been drafted to the area.
