Poor,Mrs. Mary-Ann Oguezuonu, she is fighting to stay alive after she was attacked and brutalized by irate male students of her school, her crime was telling a wayward girl to stop wearing seductive attire to school.
The school is Obosima Secondary Technical School, Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, she had threatened to get the girl expelled if she ever wore that attire again and this started the trouble.
She was cautioning the JSS2 student, a male SS1 student jumped into the classroom and rudely confronted the teacher on why she was embarrassing the female student.
“The male student, who was not satisfied with the verbal insults he heaped on the teacher, went further to grab Mrs. Oguezuonu’s blouse,” a student said .
Another teacher said
“While still cuddling her five-month old baby in the staff room, the irate male student mobilized others, suspected to be fellow cult members.They came into the staff room, armed with cutlasses and attacked the teacher.”
“The matter has been reported to the police and some arrests have been made, but the main suspect, Chimaobi Precious Agu, is still at large at the time of this telephone interview.”
