I’ve Not Been Paid For Three Months And My Assistants For Six Months – Super Eagles Coach Oliseh

Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has dismissed the claim by the Nigerian Football Federation that he was paid upfront, adding that the NFF has not paid him his salary since September while his assistants have not received salaries in six months.

Oliseh said he was getting frustrated by the situation and the NFF has left him with little hope to continue with his job.

“When it comes to money, I am disappointed because based on what I’m being owed I should have stopped working, my assistants should also stop working,” Oliseh told FootballLive.ng.

“They make people think I was paid in advance, which is not so and am still waiting to be paid. The only thing is that I just decided not to go public with it.”

His assistants are Jean Louiscuito, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu.

In fact things have gone so bad for the football federation that the winning bonuses of the Super Eagles B have not been paid for two matches. Coaches say that the situation could jeopardize the team’s preparation for next year’s African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

“If Oliseh is being owed three months and he’s not talking who are we to complain about our own six months?” one of the assistants told Complete Sport.

“The players are being owed two match bonuses and camping starts next week. With all this ‎happening it won’t help the team’s preparations for the CHAN competition.”

However, a top source of the NFF said there was no reason to worry as it has agreed to pay the coaches every three months.
