The report confirmed that the late monarch passed on in the early hours of this morning in his palace in Keffi, Keffi local government area of Nasarawa state.
His brother, Alhaji Abubakar Gada Mohammed, who made the announcement, stated that the royal father passed on at about 3am on Friday after a brief illness.
While expressing further shock over the demise of his brother, the Dan Galadiman said the late monarch died at over 70 years.
The final funeral rites and burial of the late emir who assumed the throne in 1978, will, according to Islamic teachings, take place after Juma’at prayer in Keffi.
