Just In: Fire Ravages Sabon Gari Market In Kano

According to Reports from Kano state discloses that fire has ravaged the popular Sabon Gari market, destroying completely, goods worth millions. Sources say the fire broke out at about 7pm on the evening of Thursday, December 3.
The News reports that the fire raged for more than 30 minutes before firefighters arrived at the scene.

There are speculation that the inferno was caused by power surge, however, officials say the rumours are unfounded.

The director of the state Fire Service, Alhaji Balarabe Kabara confirmed the incident.

He also affirmed that no lives were lost in the fire outbreak.
