The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command, says it has sealed 10 filling stations for failing to sell petrol at the new pump price of N87.
This is contained in a statement by the command spokesman, Mr Kayode Balogun, on Thursday in Akure.
Balogun said that the enforcement team was led by the acting commandant of the command, Adewoye Oyedokun.
He said the command was out to ensure strict compliance with the Federal Government's directive on reduction of pump price of petrol from N97 to N87 per litre.
"Although some of the stations visited complied with the directive, others are still selling at the old pump price.
"Most filling stations that were sealed either refused to adjust their pumps when told to do so or ran away on sighting the enforcement team," he said.
