UN: Detained Staff Member In Congo African Republic Now Released

             The United Nations said a UN staff member with the peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic (CAR) has been released after she was detained in Bangui earlier on Tuesday.
UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric, said on Wednesday in New York, that a staff member was detained for some time on Tuesday morning in Bangui, but she's safely released and we are obviously very pleased,’’ he said.
The peacekeeping mission, known as MINUSCA, said earlier on Tuesday that the woman had been kidnapped by armed men.
